Kristi Martel is a Rhode Island-based musician, teacher, yogini, mother, and friend. She brings decades of experience in performing and teaching and brings her innate compassion and joy to each lesson. Kristi is an authentic, patient, and supportive instructor committed to creatively figuring out what her students need, and how she can help them find and achieve it.
A songwriting storyteller for her entire life, Kristi's music combines her love of blues dissonance and syncopation with her classical training. Her stunning voice is a beautiful and powerful instrument as it leaps and soars to then drop down sweetly like a whisper in your ear as she expresses the emotions evoked from within her lyrics and composition.
