Gutter Mouth

Gutter Mouth

You throw that butt on the ground. You're so beautiful; how could you? You're smarter than that.
But then again, you did just breathe it in. You're smart.

All our ancestors scream from the ground. You're of the earth; how could you?
You're better than that.
But then again, you did just dig it in.

Your bet.

You've no idea the reaction that action provokes in me, yes. You've no idea the reaction that action provokes in me. Said, you've no idea the reaction that action provokes in me. It makes me, it makes me a gutter mouth.

I don't need to get high,
even on sugar or caffeine.
I'm high enough just living,
just breathing air, sky, earth, and sea. I'm high enough just being me.

I'm high...high...high...
(high just living, breathing
air, sun, moon, and ocean).
This earth and my gutter mouth are enough to keep me smiling... smiling for miles.

All my ancestors sing from the sky. I'm of the wind; I dare you.
You're braver than that.
But then again, you did exhale again. So brave.

You've no idea the reaction that action provokes in me, yes. You've no idea the reaction that action provokes in me. Said,

you've no idea the reaction that action provokes in me. It makes me, it makes me a gutter mouth.

And it's funny since she calls me a classy broad - a divabird, a punk-assed gutter mouth.
