Hooker

You call me the hooker But you're the pusher. You call me the hooker But you're the user.

I saw you walking.
I saw you talking and I liked it.
Then you were calling me.
It was me you called when you were crying.
It was me you called when your thoughts were Confused. What is it about me that hooks you?

Is it my charm? Our Karma? Our destiny? My mystery? Or is it your desperation? Is it your addiction?

What makes you stay when you don't want to?
What makes you leave when leaving brings us so much pain? You think you can bring me down with you but I'll strain
To hold you up as long as I can
But I'll let you fall
If the only other choice is falling with you.

You call me the hooker
but you're the pusher.
You call me the hooker
but you're the user.
You call yourself the pimp. You call me the hooker.

I call you my trick.
You call me your hooker.

You once said it was death to leave me. You once said you'd die for me.
You never once said you'd live for me. Really, I want to live.

Yes, I want live.

Why do you blame me, name me hooker
When you've used and pushed your whole life through?

And it's you it's you it's you
I loved til it broke me.
It's you it's you it's you
broken now from pushing me around. And really you just misunderstood: I'm not a hooker. I'm a healer.

And it's too bad it worked out like this, Cuz you could use some healing.
Yes, you could use.
Yes, you could use.

You call me the hooker but you're the user. Yes, you could use.
